Cristina Zenato arrived in the Bahamas to do a couple of months of diving - more than 28 years later she's still there, and is now known for her passion for helping sharks. While she's met and helped all kinds, from Hammerheads and Tiger sharks.
Whale Sharks are the gentle giants of the Shark family, stretching 18m or 59 feet, they are filter feeders and inhabit warmer waters. Dr. Mark Meekhan and his colleague Christine Barry have been studying these majestic creatures in the Ningaloo Reef.
