Mindful Productivity

In this session Alister will share a a number of mindfulness practices, we can use each day to become more aware of the way we use and misuse time. Discover a number of simple tools and techniques you can use to greatly improve productivity and get more out of your day.

Productivity Exercise

A clear, calm mind gives us the capacity to focus, think and act productively. In this exercise you will clear the space inside your head and around you before setting an intention for your day. Join Alister for this calming meditation that will allow you to think with clarity. You can be sitting or standing up for this exercise, just make sure your back is straight and you can relax your shoulders.

Mindful Creativity
S1 E3

Creativity is about seeing things from a different perspective or viewpoint. Mindfulness is particularly good at developing this ability because it is all about stepping back from your thoughts and emotions rather than getting caught up in them. In this session Alister will share some ways in which you can tap into the creative side of your brain through the practice of mindfulness.

Creativity Visualisation

Creativity can be expressed in many forms, through art, words, writing, music, design - the list goes on. In this exercise you will access the creative side of your mind mind, by practicing some creative writing, imagination and visualization. You can go-ahead and find a piece of paper and a pen to write down your thoughts or you can do this exercise as a visualization with your eyes closed.

Confidence Affirmations
S1 E6

This exercise is all about changing our conscious and subconscious mind through confidence affirmations. Our confidence levels are not increased overnight, it takes consistent daily practice to make a real change so it is recommended that you complete this exercise once a day for the next 30 Days to experience real transformation. This exercise can be carried out anytime and anywhere you feel relaxed, safe and comfortable.

Goal Setting

Goal setting is a must in business and in life. Without setting goals with clear outcomes then it is impossible to progress. In this session Alister will share a few ways in which you can set mindful, conscious goals that will give you the focus, drive and determination you need to thrive each day.

When we goal set, we create a clear outcome for the future. When we have a clear outcome for the future, we are naturally pulled towards it. We sub-consciously implant an intention in our minds. For this exercise you can visualize your answers to each question or write them down. You can do this exercise with your eyes closed or open.

Time Management

Do you find yourself constantly “running out of time”, missing deadlines, or late to appointments? Time is one thing we could all use more of. Yet, so many of us fail at managing our time effectively. In this session Alister will share his top tips for becoming more conscious of how you manage your time and tools you can use to create more time, feel less stressed and improve the quality of your life.

Communication shapes our lives and in a world with lots of noise, conscious and active listening becomes increasingly difficult. This exercise is a test of your listening skills that will allow you to communicate more effectiveness. You can perform this exercise while sitting or standing in a comfortable position.

Conflict Resolution

Conflict rarely resolves itself – in fact, conflict will usually escalate if not dealt with proactively. It is not at all uncommon to see a trivial situation snowball into a monumental problem if not resolved early on. So how can we improve our ability to resolve conflict in daily life at work and home? In this session Alister will share some practical mindfulness tools that can help us refocus our attention from the conflict itself to a focus on finding solutions.
