2025 College Basketball Crown

Coverage of the inaugural 16-team men's postseason basketball tournament featuring schools from the Big Ten, Big 12 and Big East.
First Round: Utah vs. Butler
S1 E1

The inaugural College Basketball Crown competition gets underway with the Utes facing the Bulldogs on the Las Vegas Strip. Butler is led by Canadian guard Jahmyl Telfort's 16 points per game. Utah made a run to the semifinals in the 2024 NIT.

First Round: George Washington vs. Boise State
S1 E2

The Revolutionaries (21-12) battle the Broncos (24-10) in an opening-round College Basketball Crown contest. Boise State has won 11 of its past 14, and is led by Tyson Degenhart's 17.9 points per game. George Washington won three of its last four.

First Round: Nebraska vs. Arizona State
S1 E3

The Cornhuskers battle the Sun Devils in the first round of the College Basketball Crown. Both Nebraska and Arizona State have dropped five in a row. Brice Williams paces Nebraska with 20 points per game, and scored a career-high 43 points March 4.

First Round: Georgetown vs. Washington State
S1 E4

The Hoyas (17-15) play the Cougars (19-14) in a College Basketball Crown first-round match. Georgetown's Thomas Sorber ended his season with averages of 14.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game, topping the freshman marks of Hall of Famer Patrick Ewing.

First Round: DePaul vs. Cincinnati
S1 E5

The Blue Demons and Bearcats meet in the College Basketball Crown's opening round. DePaul went 4-16 in regular-season league play, but enters this contest having won three of its past four. Cincinnati was 1-1 facing Big East foes this season.

First Round: Oregon State vs. UCF
S1 E6

The College Basketball Crown rolls on with the Knights playing the Beavers in an opening-round affair. UCF is led by Keyshawn Hall's 18.8 points per game. German forward Michael Rataj gives Oregon State 16.9 ppg and 7.2 rebounds, both team-highs.

First Round: Colorado vs. Villanova
S1 E7

The Wildcats (19-14) meet the Buffaloes (14-20) in the College Basketball Crown's first round. Colorado, the 16th and last seed in the Big 12 Tournament, won two games before falling. Villanova fired coach Kyle Neptune after the Big East Tournament.
